On Wednesday, the heavy snow which had been falling for three days finally stopped. The snow on the ground has turned in to a thin layer of ice with two or three defrosting vehicles having been dispatched by the school to clear it off. During this time, in her Advanced Mathematics class, Lu Wei Xi is resting her chin on one hand and holding a ballpoint pen in the other while writing down the key formulas and examples from the Powerpoint.
The phone in her pocket buzz but she did not dare to look at it under the professor’s watchful gaze Instead, she chose to carefully take her notes.
In less than a minute, her phone vibrates again, this time, it vibrated three times.
