The president’s office is filled with a strange atmosphere.
“Redo Huayang Trade’s plan.” Zheng Weiqian coldly said with no expression on his face.
“I already revised this plan twice as they have requested, also they–––” Fang Yan wanted to explain but was interrupted by him.
“What the client asked us to do, we must do it, even if we have to redo it 100 times. If they are still not satisfied, we still have to do it.” Zheng Weiqian didn’t look up, his voice carried ice.
“But if we keep on changing the plan according to their requirements, our interests will be affected.” She doesn’t understand why Zheng Weiqian is suddenly overlooking the Planning Department. Also, she believes that he doesn’t know that Huayang Trade’s requirements are unreasonable. Recently, her workload has increased so she is sure that she had provoked him somewhere.
“How we can still take into account our interests and also take this case is your problem. Do you still want me to teach you how to do your job?” Zheng Weiqian looked up and coldly said.
“I never thought that you were so unreasonable before, but now, I am starting to realize my mistake.” Fang Yan felt a little bit annoyed, they had discussed this case a couple of times before but they never had a conclusive result.
Zheng Weiqian frowned and meet her eyes, “Is this how you speak to your boss? Or do I have to remind you what is written in the employee handbook?”
“This is how I speak to an unreasonable boss, I don’t think I did anything wrong.” Fang Yan haughtily turned her head away, not wanting to look at him anymore. This guy is deliberately looking for her to cause trouble.
Her attitude angered Zheng Weiqian as he stared at her with fire in his eyes. In the end, he didn’t lose control and flung the plan on the table, “Take it back and redo it. Tomorrow, I want to see the new plan.”
Fang Yan resentfully took the plan from the table, “I see that it isn’t Huayang who is looking for trouble, it is you.” Then she turned around and walked out of the room.
Zheng Weiqian watched the figure disappear behind the door before looking away.
Yes, he is deliberately trying to pick a fight. In fact, that plan has long been approved, but he doesn’t want her to know that.
He knows that he minded what happened that night. He was jealous of Fang Rui blatantly hugging her waist and whispering in her ears and he was angry that she didn’t have any guard up when she followed Fang Rui back to a room. He is very clear about what would happen between a man and a woman behind closed doors, but what he finds the most annoying is that he doesn’t understand why he cares. He admits that he is attracted to her, but he won’t admit that he cares about everything about her. But in fact, he really damn cares.
“Damn, it looks like it has been a while since I've gone out for a drink.” Zheng Weiqian lowly cursed and pulled his hair in frustration. He picked up his coat from the sofa and left the office.
“I’m going out, if you need me, call me on my cell.” He said as he passed by Shen Mulin on his way out.
Shen Mulin looked at her watch, 4:49. Isn’t it too early to get off work?”
“Mental! Really is too unreasonable!” Fang Yan angrily went back to the office.
“What’s the matter?” Yu Weiya turned her swivel chair and moved towards her.
“Huayang’s Case ah.” Just thinking about it made Fang Yan angry. She really doesn’t understand what is wrong with that man.
“Was it returned back again.” Yu Weiya exclaimed. “This is the third time.” This has never happened before.
“I think that he is deliberately trying to cause trouble.” She forcefully threw the case onto the table, making everyone in the office turn to look at her.
“Did you offend him? Yu Weiya couldn’t think of any other reason.
“I don’t think I have done anything to offend him.” That is the problem, she doesn’t remember when had she offended this arrogant show-off. Half a month ago, he even invited her out to eat, but after that, he started to look for trouble with her. It really is baffling.
“Then, what are you going to do?” Yu Weiya pointed to the case on the table.
“I don’t know.” She’s decided, she is not going to keep on changing the plan for this case.
Seeing her like this, Yu Weiya smiled and comforted, “Alright, don’t be angry anymore. Get off work early today. I’ve learned to make some new dishes, do you want to come and try it?” Yu Weiya doesn’t have any special hobbies, but she loves cooking. However, her crafts could be compared to those big chefs in those five-star restaurants. Fang Yan would always say that if she is unemployed, she could open up a restaurant and the business would be good.
“Really?” Fang Yan’s attention was quickly transferred elsewhere, “I haven’t had a proper dinner in half a month. This month’s work is more than I’ve ever had in two years.”
In the bar, the couples dancing to the intense music of rock-n-roll on the dance floor under the dim light helped drive the atmosphere of the bar.
“Did you call me out so I could watch you drown your sorrows with wine?” Lin Yifan ridiculed.
“Troublesome.” He downed another cup of wine.
“You were able to obtain Fangshi’s case which would reap a lot of profit for your company. What else could you be troubled about?” Because Linshi wasn’t able to obtain the dealership, Lin Yifan’s tone was a bit sour.
“Fang Yan.” His grip on the glass unconsciously tightened.
However, this little movement did not escape the eyes of Lin Yifan who smiled and said, “You’re bothered by this?”
Fang Yan! The last time he saw them at the bar, their relationship wasn’t normal, but it feels like something isn’t right.
Zheng Weiqian froze. Yes, he is bothered by this, but he does not want to admit it.
“How could that be.” Zheng Weiqian gave him a disdainful look and ask the waiter for another glass of wine.

Lin Yifan didn’t say anything, but the expression on his face shows that he doesn’t believe his lies.
