The fierce discussion in the group chat piqued Lu Wei Xi’s interest. Besides she doesn’t have anything to do right now. She simply turned off her computer and searched for “Beauty Order” on her phone.
She had read some of Late at Night’s other novels before. Her favorite is “Attend to the Rivers and Mountains” which was turned into a radio drama. From what she had gathered, Late at Night’s writing style and gentle and graceful. Even if she were to write any dark stories, her writing would still be lithe. This probably corresponds with her personality.
However, “Beauty Order” completely toppled her impression of Late at Night. That is because the writing style seemed to be completely different as she has changed her style. She no longer stuck to descriptions in her writings and instead focused on the emotion factor. In fact, it is very rich and vibrant in color.
The female protagonist in the story is Lu Wan Qing who had been a pitiful orphan her entire life. That is, after she had been driven out of the wangfu by the steward one snowy night, as she was at death's door, she was rescued by a mysterious man.
She thought that she was saved but she never thought that she would be pushed into a bigger abyss.
That place is called the Daughter Building and hundreds of women who have been adopted there have suffered before just like her. They were brought in to pay their respects to the landlord. From then on, they abandoned their past, severed their emotions and are trained to be cold-blooded assassins, hired by others.
In this Daughter Building, an attendant will be arranged for each killer. Attendants, as the name suggests, is a slave you can insult and order about.
Lu Wan Qing’s attendant is a thin pale boy with long dark hair. His eyes are indifferent and seemed to be dismissive about everything. When it looked at her, his eyes seemed to be filled with pity.
If it weren’t for all the insults her fellow sisters had thrown at him, Lu Wan Qing wouldn’t believe that this cold and lonely boy would be a petty and low attendant of the Building.
Later she would realize that his name is actually Ye Du Zhuo and his life….is not so simple.
The story starts from when she was rescued by the owner of the Daughter Building that snowy night to when she falls in love with Ye Du Zhuo to consigned to eternal damnation.
