After they were done with their meal, Lu Wei Xi unconsciously took Jian Chi’s hand in hers and exited the restaurant. Because it is still early, they both aimlessly walked around the street.
“Hey, do you still remember this road?” Lu Wei Xi poked his waist with her finger.
Jian Chi looked up at her with a blank look on his face.
She knew that he wouldn’t remember QAQ
Lu Wei Xi sighed and patiently explained, “It was a long time ago when you sent me back to school from Starbucks. At that time, the two of us walked down this road. My rabbit ears on my hat fell off and you helped me put it back on.”
“Oh, I remember now.”
He replied his tone still the same indifference.
Lu Wei Xi continued to stare at him with bright eyes and asked, “Do you still remember what I wore that day?”
Many romance novels have said that if a man remembers the clothes you wore every time you meet, it proves that this person must love you very much.
Jian Chi frowned and seemed to think that it is an idiotic question, “You just said that you wore an outfit with rabbit ears that day.”
“And?”
“That’s it.”

The two of them looked at each other for a long time. Lu Wei Xi finally gave up.
Jian Chi isn’t the type of person to follow the norm. Talking to him about romance will only be torture for yourself.
The two of them walked on the road for a while. Today’s temperature is slightly colder than the previous few days. As the night got darker, the evening breeze got colder.
Lu Wei Xi subconsciously pulls up her collar. Then, the man next to her asked, “Cold?”

He silently stared at her, lost in thought. Suddenly, he took her hand and walked forward. After walking a few steps, they stopped in front of a clothing store with a foreign sign above it.
Jian Chi dragged her inside and expressionlessly asked someone, “Do you sell scarves here?”
When the sweet smiling shop assistant heard this sentence, her professional smile stiffened, “My apologies sir. It is almost June, we don’t sell scarves anymore.”
“Oh, then do you have any outerwear?”
“Yes. What type of color and model do you want?”
“Thermal.”
“......All right, I’ll go help you pick a few pieces.”
While the shop assistant went to pick out some clothes, Lu Wei Xi who stood by his side in a state of chaos couldn’t help but hook his arm and whisper, “I’m actually not that cold. Let’s go.”
Jian Chi simply ignored her.
It didn’t take long for the shop assistant to come back with two pieces of clothing. Lu Wei Xi took a closer look at it and realized what she brought back is a pair of couples' sweater.

“Sir, miss, this is our store's latest spring and summer couples wear. I think that you and your girlfriend are very well matched so it would look good on you two. These are the last two left in storage.” She spread the clothes on her hand and enthusiastically began to publicize.
It is a simple and clean white hooded sweater with the English words “You are my painkiller” written in bold black.
Looking at this line of English text, Lu Wei Xi was moved. However, she only brought 100 yuan to go out this evening….just as her heart is fiercely debating, next to her, Jian Chi made a decisive decision, “Just these two.”

He turned and touched her head, “Go to the fitting room and change.”

As he said this, he took the sweater from the shop assistant and directly walk to the fitting room.

The sweater in her hand warmed her body. Lu Wei Xi smiled and replied, “Yes, he is really good to me.”

When Lu Wei Xi came out of the fitting room Jian Chi was quietly standing outside waiting for her.
He wore the exact same clothes as her. At this moment he is standing under the light, his head slightly raised as he looked at the starry sky out the door. His temperament is truly cold and noble as if no one can approach him.
Lu Wei Xi seemed to return back to the beginning of everything. He was still the flower blooming on a high peak beyond anyone’s reach. He was dismissive of everyone as if no one can approach him.
But it is different now. She is confident, even if the entire world can’t do it, she can approach him and stay in his heart.
She stared at his straight and elegant back and without any hesitation, she approached him from behind and took his hand in hers, their hands slightly swaying, as she said in a pampered manner, “Let’s go.”
“Okay.” He smiled, his features softening.
