During the winter break of his senior year, Li Shen started to look for work.Because he relies on his guitar to make money he decided to invest in a better one. The guitar he has right now is very old and is simply basic. In any case, he should get rid of it. The problem is, the guitar he wants to buy costs around 10,000 Yuan, and it cannot be paid in installments.
When he was in school, he and a couple of friends performed some gigs. The paid he got from those along with his living expenses would only be able to cover half of the cost. The remaining half is nonexistent.

Qingnan Lane is a famous street in A City where many bars are located. Many singer’s starting points are there so Li Shen went there as well. Although there are many bars, not everyone needs a singer and those who already have singers have no need to hire another one.
Li Shen had good luck. Originally, this bar didn’t need a singer but because the boss liked the song he sang, he allowed him to stay and try it out.
The first day was a trial. The boss wasn’t sure how the regulars would react to a sudden new singer. However, Li Shen might be born to be a star. When he went on stage, everyone’s eyes seemed to be focused on him.
Li Shen’s performance that night was very good. The customers liked him so the boss let him stay and the pay is the same as most other bars.
When Li Shen came home, he picked Yu Wan off the ground and spun her around in excitement. Yu Wan was also happy for him. When she made instant noodles, she extravagantly added a ham sausage in celebration, “Congratulations on smoothly passing your first step! A new star in the music world is about to arise!

After Li Shen got the money, he invited Yu Wan out on a date, saying he will treat her for a meal tonight.
The location is the Starlight Department Store. The two happily ate hotpot and walked around the mall hand in hand.
The mall is starting to switch to spring clothes so many winter items are on sale. Li Shen said he wants to buy one for Yu Wan but after thinking about it for a while, she decided to instead save the money for food.
Li Shen took her hand, “Then let’s go to the supermarket downstairs and buy delicious food!”
“Okay! I want potato chips!”
“Ok! I will buy you two bags of each flavor!”
The two happily walked forward. When they passed by a shoe store, Yu Wan couldn’t help but peer inside.

To be able to sing in a bar, you must sing well. Not only is Li Shen a good singer, but he is also a handsome college student thus naturally attracts guests to come to see him.
The bar owner is naturally happy, business is booming every day. However, Li Shen has been harassed by female customers more than once and some who are even bolder directly gave him a room card.
Li Shen explained many times that he has a girlfriend, but there are still many female customers who like to flirt with him.
