In the study, Lin Zhenyang and his mother sat across from each other. The expressions on their face are not very good and the atmosphere is a bit heavy.
“Mom, I love Fang Yu. I won’t give up on her.” Lin Zhenyang looked firmly at his mother, determination revealed in his tone.

“You….” Madame Lin couldn’t finish her thoughts as her chest began to heave with anger. She knows that her son and daughter-in-law are not compatible. Chen Hanyin was used to being spoiled at her home. Whenever she feels slightly unhappy, she will throw a temper. This temper did not change even after marrying into the Lin family. Moreover, Lin Zhenyang’s temper also isn’t very good. Both of them never admit defeat so quarreling is inevitable.
After a long time, Madame Lin weakly said, “Even if you two don’t have any feelings, you should still think about Yifan. He is still so little.”
"I know, but I believe that Fang Yu will be a good mother." When it comes to Fang Yu, perhaps Lin Zhenyang himself didn’t notice but his eyes were gentle whenever he mentions her.

The anger twisted Chen Hanyin’s beautiful face, “I won’t agree to the divorce. Lin Zhenyang, don’t even think about letting my son call someone else mother.”
“I don’t want to argue with you. Take a few days to calm down then we can talk again.” Lin Zhenyang told her calmly then turned to his mother, “Mom, I’ll go first.”
“Stop, you’re not allowed to leave.” Chen Hanyin yelled after him however, Lin Zhenyang didn’t stop for her at all and continued to walk out of the study without turning back.
As the sound of her husband’s footsteps disappears, Chen Hanyin tearfully looked toward her mother-in-law, “How can your Lin family treat me like this.” Then she ran out of the study crying.
Madame Lin could only helplessly look on and shake her head.
That evening, Lin Zhenyang didn’t come back while Chen Hanyin packed some of her clothes and ran back to her family. The big house feels so desolate at this time. In the living room, Madame Lin sat alone as she processes her emotions.
“Granny.” A childish voice pulled her out of her low mood. Madame Lin turned around and saw Butler Lin standing by the entrance holding Lin Yifan’s hand. When he saw his grandmother sitting on the sofa, he naively smiled and happily ran into her arms.
When she saw his innocent face, Madame Lin’s heart softened. She picked up the little guy and put her on her lap.
“Yifan came back. Did you behave yourself at kindergarten today?” She kissed his tender cheeks and smiled.
“Yes. Granny look. This is the little red flower that the teacher awarded me today. Only the good kids can get it.” The little Lin Yifan pointed at the little flower on his head.
“Really? Granny knows you are the best.”
“Gegegege…..” The childish laughter filled the room immediately brightening the cold and lonely house.
The next day when she arrived at the office, her secretary told her that the Chen Group’s director is waiting for her.
“Why did the in-laws think to come to visit me today?” Madame Lin smiled as she greeted the man sitting on the sofa and sat across from him.
Chen Group’s Chen Shaoyan is Chen Hanyin’s father and the owner of the largest cargo company in Shanghai. This year the international cargo routes have been opened.
Chen Shaoyan expressionlessly looked at her and coldly said, “You should give me an explanation. Why did your Lin Family do this to my daughter?"

“Butler Lin, it’s me. Have someone follow young master in the next few days. Find out who he is meeting with and I want to know about the woman around him.” She coldly ordered.
“Yes, Madame.” Butler Lin respectfully responded.
“Don’t let anyone know about this matter.”
