Butler Lin is very efficient when it comes to his work. On the third day, he handed the information he collected on Fang Yu to Madame Lin. Under the pressure of Chen Shaoyan, Madame Lin went out to meet Fang Yu the next day.
In the private room of the teahouse, Madame Lin looked at the woman in front of her. She has an oval-shaped head and when she smiles, two shallow dimples could be seen. Below her thin willow brows are a pair of bright and fascinating eyes. Her dark black hair is pulled down. She is wearing a white blouse and a dark green skirt, giving her a gentle temperament. Her beauty is different from Chen Hanyin’s flirty beauty. Her beauty is light, not easy to detect, but once you do, it is very hard to forget.
At first glance, Madame Lin likes the girl sitting in front of her. She gives off a feeling of comfort and ease.
“May I ask why you are looking for me?” Fang Yu smiled at the unfamiliar lady in front of her. When she was walking out her house, this lady stopped her and asked to speak to her. She instinctively wanted to refuse but the extravagant lady told her that she won’t take up most of her time. Also, she mentioned Lin Zhenyang. Lin Zhenyang, the man she loves. And so, she followed this lady to this western-style teahouse.
Yes, she likes the girl in front of her but that doesn’t mean that she will soften her heart for her and Zhenyang. Lin Group was laden in debt a few years ago. After her husband passed away, it was hard for her to support Lin Group alone. But she couldn’t watch as the company her husband built to be destroyed in her hands. She still has to pass down the family business to her son and then to her grandson which will be passed down from generation to generation. Because of this, she opted for a business marriage.
Chen Group is the creditor of Lin Group. After a discussion between the two families, they decided for Lin Zhenyang and Chan Hanyin to marry. Lin Group’s debt would be written off by Chen Hanyin’s dowry. Also, Chen Group will invest 10 million dollars in Lin Group, but Lin Group will have to transfer 20% of its shares to Chen Hanyin. If they were to get a divorce, the 20% shares will still be under Chen Hanyin’s name and the 10 million dollar investment will also be withdrawn. At that point, Lin Group will no longer exist. She can’t let this happen.
“You’re Fang Yu.” Madame Lin said after a brief silence.
Although she was surprised that the lady knew her name, Fang Yu still politely replied, “Yes, I’m Fang Yu. How do you know me?”
“You know Lin Zhenyang?” She didn’t answer her question and directly asked.
Fang Yu stared at her and seemed to have seen something on her face. After a moment, she nodded and said, “You are…” Fang Yu can guess who the lady is in front of her. She can see a familiar shadow on her face.
“I am Lin Zhenyang’s mother.” She answered, knowing what she is going to ask.
“Hello, Auntie Lin.” Fang Yu smiled and greeted her. She has heard Lin Zhenyang mention his mother before. He said that she is a strong woman who will not lose to a man at work.
“Call me Madame Lin.”
“Uh….” Fang Yu froze and suddenly realized that maybe she does not like her. She sweetly smiles, “Hello, Madame Lin.”
“I know about your relationship with Zhenyang but the main reason I came to look for you is to ask you to leave Zhenyang. You two will never be together. You are still young, you should not waste your feelings on this tragic fate.” She likes this girl and knows that her son really loves her, but that is not enough. Fang Yu mist leave because she can’t let Lin Group be ruined.
“I really love Zhenyang and I can feel the love he has for me is the same.” When she said this, a blush immediately crept up to Fang Yu’s face.
“Do you know who he is? He isn’t someone you can be with just because you love him.” Madame Lin ridiculed. Who does she think she is, why can’t she look at her identity first. Based on what can she easily say that she loves her son and believe that he also loves her. Even if that is the case, where did she get the confidence to be so sure?
“I don’t care who he is or what kind of identity he had. Even if he is poor, as long as he loves me, I am willing to follow him anywhere.” Fang Yu stared straight into her eyes and firmly said.

Madame Lin studied her for a while before she took out a document file from her bag. She pushed it in front of Fang Yan, indicating for her to open it.
Fang Yu looked at her doubtfully before she opened the file. There are some photos in there, ranging from a few years ago to a year ago. All of them look well preserved and very new.
Fang Yu’s smile stiffened when she saw the pictures. There are some wedding photos, some photos of daily life, some with one person, two people and a family. “Zhenyang is the young master of Lin Group. The woman in the picture is the daughter of the Chen Group as well as his wife of five years. The child id also their four-year-old son.”

“A few days ago, he came back and said that he wants to divorce Chen Hanyin because he is in love with you. Fang Yan dumbly stared at her, not understanding what her intention is. If she wanted her to leave, she could’ve just shown her these pictures and provoke her. That way, it would be must faster. However, what she is doing right now is defending her son and expressing her feelings.
