“Jian Chi, why are you here?” Lu Wei Xi looked up at him incredulously.
Jian Chi walked over and sat in the empty seat next to Lu Wei Xi. He rubbed her head and said, “What, you don’t want to see me?”
When Lu Wei Xi heard his voice, she blinked and shook her head.
“Woah, this voice…..my gosh. It’s really Wonder dada!!! A-, a-, am I dreaming right now?” Xia Nuan intensely stared at Jian Chi all starry-eyed as if she is about to drill a hole into his body, “Ran Ran, quick pinch me.”
Mu Ran Ran was also shocked and took a while for her to find her voice, “.....No need to pinch. It is real.”
Occasionally, a few girls who have gotten off from their evening class came in to order takeout. One of them saw Jian Chi and couldn’t help but whisper to her friend, “Does our school have such male god with such a good looking back? I am looking forward to seeing how he looks like in front but judging by his back view….even if he is not really handsome, he is no ordinary person.” The girl next to her who is paying also looked over. She shook her head and regretfully said, “Do you not see the girl sitting in front of him? He must be Cheng Si Ran’s new boyfriend.”

The two girls took the food from the store owner and left, their voice getting farther away.
Cheng Si Ran who hasn’t spoken since Jian Chi came in, looked him up and down before coldly saying, “You’re the guy who made our Xi Xi fall head over heels in love, Jian Chi?”
When she heard “fall head over heels in love,” Jian Chi hasn’t reacted yet but Lu Wei Xi was already extremely embarrassed.
“I’m surprised. Why do you care about her? Judging by your looks, it wouldn’t be hard for you to find a girl more beautiful and intelligent than Xi Xi in a heartbeat.” Cheng Si Ran frowned, her tone getting more and more aggressive. Xia Nuan and Mu Ran Ran who is sitting at the side, couldn’t care less to join in on the conversation and simply stared at Jian Chi.
“Because I only like her.” Jian Chi raised his eyebrow and evenly replied.
Cheng Si Ran scanned him, determined that he is a veteran in the love field and doesn’t believe his words, “Then tell me, what do you like about her?”
Jian Chi’s eyes hung down as he suddenly stayed silent. Lu Wei Xi who is sitting next to him is upset at the moment. Reason tells her that she should speak up and mediate the situation but for some reason, the words can’t come out of her mouth. Perhaps, unconsciously….she also wants to know why, out of thousands of women out there, Jian Chi would choose her.
The fan creaked above them, disrupting the quiet atmosphere. After about seven or eight seconds, he finally spoke. His voice is very clear. In his cold voice, a touch of warmth and gentleness could be heard.
“When I returned to China last winter, I came to watch a show at University T. At that time, she stood on the stage and sang. I sat very far from the stage so I didn’t see her appearance clearly and only heard her sing.”
When Jian Chi is sitting, his back is straight with one hand placed naturally on top the other on the table showing his well-educated manners.
When he said this, even Lu Wei Xi was shocked. Jian Chi never told her that a long time ago….he had already seen her before.

She couldn’t help but look up at him. This person looks aloof and austere, his pitch-black hair shining distinctly in the light. He just elegantly sat there looking like someone that had come out of a painting.
When Xia Nuan heard him speak, she got so excited that she forgot about the current situation, “Wonder dada, I am your biggest fan! It’s no exaggeration when I say that I’ve been your fan for almost three years. I started liking you when you first appeared as supporting role C in a radio drama. I have saved all your recordings and listen to them every night before going to bed..."
She had said so much but Jian Chi only glanced at her and nodded.
Xia Nuan’s heart began to rapidly beat fast when she saw his nod. She is already thinking about whether she should brag about this on Weibo when she gets back.
It seemed like she couldn’t digest this amount of information at once. Cheng Si Ran’s arrogance has been halved. She started to look at him skeptically, the hostility from the beginning had long been gone.
“Also–––” Jian Chi’s gaze landed on Cheng Si Ran as he elegantly and plainly uttered each word, “No matter who you are, you are not qualified to interfere with my and Wei Xi’s decisions.”
Lu Wei Xi still hasn’t comprehended what had happened when her wrist has been grabbed by him.
“I will take care of her in the future, thank you for taking care of her until now.”
This cold sentence shocked everyone at the table. Jian Chi pulled Lu Wei Xi’s hand, got up and walked out the door.
Good for ML saying that shit to her I already knew this bitch thought she is better than FL lying to her and forcing her on a date. A friend is someone who respect their friends opinion she has no respect for our leads and using friendship to degrade her. These types of girls are jealous of their friends but mask it by thinking they know what best and protection. How can you force someone to be with a person they don't like? and when they refuse you cry by being a green tea B and give them cold shoulder. Then when it time to make up again you make it about yourself how she will come crying to you if he hurt her questions the boyfriend like you her F*****g mother but still calling her stupid and saying she doesn't deserve him.
