Fang Yan stood in front of him and smiled in embarrassment. She doesn’t know what to say when meeting him in this situation. Should she congratulate him on his break up? Fang Yan didn’t think more of it and followed him inside the restaurant.
Pei Qing handed the menu to her, signaling for her to order.
Fang Yan shook her head, “I don’t usually eat French cuisine. Why don’t you order instead?
Seeing her like this, Pei Qing didn’t say anymore and called the waiter over, “Cheese baked snails, red wine braised beef, baked winkle mollusk, and also a bottle of wine.”
“Ok, please wait, sir.”The waiter courteously stepped away.
Fang Yan turned and looked around the restaurant. She doesn’t know what to say. It is still very early so there is not a lot of people in the restaurant.
“You seem to be very afraid of me.” Pei Qing looked at her funny when he saw her looking around and avoiding to look at him.
“Uh...how could that be?” Fang Yan dryly laughed. In fact, he’s not wrong, she is a little afraid of him. It could be that she thinks he isn’t someone easy to get along with.
Pei Qing didn’t expose and smiled. Not wanting the mood to become awkward, Pei Qing asked her some trivial questions to make her feel comfortable, “What do you do?”
“Unemployed bum. I just came to Beijing to play for a while.”

After dinner, Pei Qing wanted to send her back. Fang Yan originally wanted to reject his offer, but since their house was just around the corner, it would be unreasonable to refuse. Besides, they didn’t even speak much in his car.

When the car slowly stopped in front of the villa, Fang Yan got off the car and politely thanked him, “Thanks for sending me back, as well as for dinner.”
“And here I thought you would get indigestion for eating with me.” Pei Qing laughed and got off the car as well.
